For those wishing to continue with the exploration of practical philosophy, further courses are offered by the School of Philosophy, which serve to expand and deepen the students appreciation of the search for Wisdom. These are referred to as Ongoing Courses for enrolment purposes and consist of the Intermediate, I and Senior levels. Spring Term Commencing the week beginning February 3rd 2025 Online sessions are 1.5 hours and face to face sessions run for 2.5 hours including a tea-break. -
The “Middle Groups” courses are a follow-on from our “Early Groups” and explore further great themes. These courses consist of one session per week for 12 weeks and include all the groups known in the school as Measure level. All relevant fees payable in full before the course commences. Spring Term Commencing the week beginning February 3rd 2025 Online sessions are 1.5 hours and face to face sessions run for 2.5 hours including a tea-break. -
An introduction to some of the timeless philosophies from around the globe with quotations from a selection of humanity’s greatest minds. These are underpinned by practices that can be used in daily life to make these concepts experiential. Spring Term Commencing the week beginning February 10th 2025 Online sessions are approximately 1.5 hours and face to face sessions run for 2.5 hours including a tea-break. -
The “Early Groups” courses are a follow-on from our Introductory Course, with each course exploring a single theme that builds on the material introduced in The Wisdom Within. Early group courses are offered in no particular order, at different times of the year and consisting of one session per week for 12 weeks, with fees payable in full before the course commences. A prerequisite for enrolment is the completion of "The Wisdom Within" introductory course.
